This heavy duty dehumidifier draws air in using a fan, crosses it over refrigerant-cooled coils and causes the moisture in the air to condense into liquid. Used following flooding or water damage, this dehumidifier will effectively remove moisture from the air when placed in an affected room. Another great use for a dehumidifier is for drying plaster, allowing you to finish decorating the room even sooner. While a dehumidifier on its own can be very effective, it is worth considering using a heater and or an air mover or carpet dryer at the same time to speed the process.
